Mayor Andy Burnham, is speaking on Wed 15th on the city’s digital agenda and will be meeting with several key stakeholders in the region’s digital skills development programmes.

Reflecting Andy Burnham’s well publicised vision, announced earlier this year, to make Manchester a world-leading digital hub, there will be considerable interest from widespread attending digital & business communities.

A Brighter Future for Digital IT Apprenticeships Apprenticeship reforms, funding and delivery

John Pritchard, Head of Apprenticeships at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, will provide an overview on the new Digital IT Apprenticeship Standards and the opportunity that these changes will bring to SMEs, from delivery, End Point Assessment and grading.

Social Media Apprenticeships with The Juice Academy hosted by Sandy Lindsay MBE

“Social Media is out of control!” – The Juice Academy – the multi award-winning social media apprenticeship – will invite four current or recently qualified social media/digital marketing apprentices to debate the motion that social media is out of control; two for and two against. The audience will then add their thoughts, via a lively Q&A discussion, chaired by Sandy Lindsay MBE, and will then vote on whether the motion is carried or not.
